Guests can expect 50 breweries pouring over 150 different beers

Columbus’s many breweries make any night out drinking beer a promising one. With numerous watering holes to choose from, it can be hard to decide which one to visit.

Luckily, the Columbus Brew Festival will return to the city this Saturday, showcasing the many breweries of the city and beyond.

The Brew Festival will be hosted in conjunction with the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) to provide guests with a night at the museum and a chance to drink among the dinosaurs. In the fourth iteration of the festival, which started in 2022, guests can expect 50 breweries pouring over 150 different beers.

Tickets to the event allow guests to sample as many beers as they would like as they wander through the museum’s exhibits including planetarium shows and the traveling exhibits.

Additionally, early admission tickets are available to those who want more time to explore the museum and even get their hands on some special beer offerings.

The beer offerings include both local classics like Founders Brewing Company and Land-Grant Brewing Company, in addition to some out-of-state offerings.

“We try to complement the local breweries with out-of-state breweries that don’t have representation but nevertheless have a great reputation or brew unique beers,” says Dan Silberstein, an organizer of the festival.

He listed breweries such as Tripping Animals, 450 North, Drekker and more as some new out-of-state additions to the festival.

The Columbus Brew Festival will take place March 8 from 8-11 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the festival’s website
