With Easter approaching this Sunday, millions are gearing up for the essential egg hunts. With an estimated 180 million eggs purchased for Easter each year, according to Business Insider, there are plenty of opportunities for everyone to get out and hunt for some. Here are some Columbus-area egg hunts for children and adults alike.
Grandview Heights Egg Hunts
Grandview Heights’ Easter celebrations return to Wyman Woods Park with fun for all ages. On April 19, kids aged 2–10 can come out and search for over 10,000 hidden eggs, with separate areas for each age group. Afterward, donuts, juice and crafts will be available in the shelter house. Those looking for extra easter fun can check out the neighborhoods breakfast with the Bunny, pup-friendly egg hunt and even a moonlit egg scramble for adults scheduled throughout the rest of Easter weekend.

Obetz Easter Egg Hunt
Fortress Obetz will host the city’s annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Allowing children on the field, they can search for nearly 40,000 colorful eggs. Afterward, families are welcome to get their photo taken with the Easter Bunny and enjoy inflatables and a petting zoo. Food vendors will also be on-site.

Eggs, Paws, and Claws at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Powell is inviting families to its annual spring festival, “Eggs, Paws, and Claws” this coming weekend. Included with regular admission to the zoo, this event features photos with the Easter Bunny at Lakeside Pavilion, meet-and-greets with “egg ambassadors” and the “Egg-Splore-N-Find” scavenger hunt. Discounted tickets are available at local Kroger stores.
