Don’t miss these last-minute spooky and scary activities in Columbus

With Halloween just a week away, it’s time to get those last-minute spooky and scary activities in. With numerous parties, tours, musicals, events and more going on around the city and suburbs, there’s no better time to start celebrating the holiday.  

Howl at the Moon Columbus Halloween Party: Night of the Undead  

Howl at the Moon, the chain dance club establishment will bring some haunted fun to its Columbus location this weekend with its “Night of the Undead” party. The mainstays of live music and drinks will be centerstage, with deals on beers and cocktails, but guests are invited to dress in their best costumes. Moreover, the club will give away a free “happy hour party” to an attendee who enters a raffle.

2024 Miniature Halloween Village  

Streetlight Guild, a local arts association that focuses on highlighting minority-created art, is inviting visitors to come a join in on the fun at their fourth-annual miniature Halloween village. Filling two floors of the guild’s building, the event is inclusive to families, with gift bags provided for all and costumes encouraged, and special hours for sensory-sensitive guests.  

Free, Oct. 26-31, times vary.

Haunted Fest Columbus  

Kemba Live is hosting its outdoor concert event this coming Friday, featuring Shaq’s Bass Allstars, DJ DIESEL, NGHTMRE, Eliminate and CELO. At the venue, there will be a silent disco in addition to the live music and all ages are welcome.  

$64+, Oct. 25, 6 p.m.

Halloween Tots Party  

Those with little ones can head out to Dublin for some family-friendly fun. Costumes are of course encouraged at this event featuring trick or treating and pumpkin painting. Additionally, there will be a costume contest, with prizes going to the best dressed. With the cost of a ticket, guests will receive a slice of pizza and a beverage.  

$15, Oct. 27, 9-11 a.m.

Halloween Paint & Sip  

Those looking for a more chill Halloweekend can come out for a paint and sip at the Plaza Hotel. All materials required are provided with a ticket at this event that allows guests to choose a canvas where they can paint some horror icons like IT, Jason and Micheal Myers. Although not provided, guests are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks and those who wear a costume will be entered into a raffle to win prizes. 

$25, Oct. 25, 7-9 p.m.
