Downtown Columbus is about to get a little spooky. The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) is hosting its fourth annual CAPA Haunts the Palace on Thursday, October 23, transforming the historic Palace Theatre into a Halloween event for families and kids of all ages.
Guests are invited to come in costume and explore every haunted corner of the 1926 theater, which will be filled with festive activities and live entertainment. Families can trick-or-treat throughout the lobby, make Halloween crafts and capture the fun at themed selfie stations scattered around the venue.
Entertainment will be provided by several of the city’s leading arts organizations, including the Columbus Children’s Theatre, Columbus Symphony, Opera Columbus and Short North Stage. Adding to the atmosphere, performers from the Ohio School of Falconry and Castle on a Cloud Entertainment will appear as spooky characters, providing surprises and picture opportunities.
CAPA Haunts the Palace offers a full evening of Halloween-themed fun at no cost — admission is completely free and open to the public. The event will take place 4-7 p.m., October 23. For more information on the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts, visit their website.
