Check out who is playing this weekend in Columbus

This weekend, a variety of shows are playing in Columbus, Ohio. Check out the country twang of bluegrass at the Bluegrass and American Roots festival or rock out to the sounds of some industry legends with Shadowbox Live.  

Bluegrass Festival 

Join the Columbus Department of Music for the 21st annual Bluegrass and American Roots Festival. Enjoy music from an award-winning musician headlining the show or wander the grounds and explore the sounds of the pop-up bands as they form. The Bluegrass and American Roots festival starts Feb. 20, running from 7-9 p.m. 

On Friday night, Bluegrass lovers will have the opportunity to see the award-winning husband and wife team, Kenny and Amanda Smith. On Saturday, East Nash Grass will be headlining the festival. Before the show starts, the festival will be hosting workshops for students, local musicians and other artists to play together in a mixer format.

Women of Rock 

Another show playing this weekend is Shadowbox Live’s Leather and Lace 2026. Join Shadowbox live in this celebration of the women of rock and roll history. This show will feature songs from 20 women who made rock and roll history with their music. Artists like Tina Turner, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin and many more industry legends will be showcased.  

This event will be playing at Shadowbox Live until March 24, 2026.
