Fall is moving in on Ohio and gardeners know what that means—it’s time to start planting. In addition to their usual green offerings, Oakland Nurseries also invites the denizens of Columbus and the Central Ohio area to their upcoming 45th annual Fall Festival. Musical entertainment, hayrides, door prizes and a special guest from the petting zoo will all be at the Oakland Nursery Fall Festival taking place at the Columbus Garden Center October 11-12. Watch the third annual pumpkin drop, Saturday only, as giant pumpkins plummet 130 feet to the ground, smashing 

Oakland Nurseries has been supplying the Central Ohio area with plants since 1940, making this the nursery’s 85th anniversary. With a horticulturally trained staff, a variety of both produce-yielding and house plants and all the lawn and plant care products a gardener could need, Oakland Nurseries has bloomed into one of the area’s premier nurseries.
