Customize every room’s scent with Penn and Beech Candle Co.

Every home has a unique look and feel tailored by its residents. Penn and Beech Candle Co. offers guests the opportunity to enhance the ambiance with a custom scent. Located on North High Street in the Short North, the candle shop invites guests to create a one-of-a-kind candle.  

Within the process, guests are welcome to work with a staff “scent specialist” to narrow down the perfect scent. Whether they are looking for a clean, refreshing scent or something cozier and homier, guests have plenty of options to choose from with over 100 scent options and combinations. After choosing their favorite scents, guests can pick from a number of vessels for their candle. Guests get to be a part of this custom candle-making process from start to finish as they blend and pour their custom concoction into their hand-picked vessel.   

What’s more, Penn and Beech Candle Co. also welcomes guests looking for a candle and some community to their public events. Examples include events such as their Lights and Flights event, in partnership with Wine on High. The event aims to create another unique experience to candle pouring by adding a wine tasting while the wax cools. This event is available every third Tuesday of the month and is offered in 45-minute sessions after 5 p.m.
