Wellness in Columbus
Everyone knows about an apple a day, but what else keeps the doctor away?

The city of Columbus’ Parks and Recreation Department is hosting several events to promote wellness among its adult citizens.
Walk with a Doc
The city’s new walking club makes a quick talk with a “doc” a walk in the park. This casual club allows members to walk and learn about healthcare topics at their own pace. The season has already started for some, but registration is free and available as long as the season lasts. A free T-shirt is just five walks away when you join this club.
Every other Saturday, 9-10 a.m. Register here
Chat with a Nurse
Starting this June until August 5th, the city is offering Chat with a Nurse at the Marion Franklin Community Center. Join friends and neighbors at this workshop and get acquainted with adult health and nutrition. Follow along with this workshop’s progressive learning style and chat with a nurse.
